Here are the pictures taken when i visited Dobbs Weir which is on the River Lea near Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire. I couldn't find out who Dobbs was but the Weir has had the name since 1826, before that it was called "Dobs Weir" and prior to that it was called "Graygoose Weir". It is a great place to visit if you are looking for peace and tranquility, it is also very popular with the local fisherman. The Weir is overlooked by the Fish and Eels Pub, across the road there is also a very pleasant cafe and i can definitely vouch for the food. There is toilet facilities in the car park outside the cafe and somewhere to moor your boat... What more could you want?
